David Padilla - CEO CROWD
David Padilla
CEO
Experience:
Ruby, Rails and everything related
David has been working in IT for more than 9 years now. He has experience with different technologies and different environments; from development to server and infrastructure administration. At Crowd Interactive, he started as a developer of one of the most important projects in the company. It was and still is the biggest project using Ruby on Rails in our history. Eventually David took the reins of the project and lead it to a successful deployment. Now, David's job is to manage the whole show and to keep our business open. He has the right attitude to motivate his fellow developers, and he does so in the most interesting ways. David travels back and forth from Colima to San Francisco, but he remains in touch with the crew to supervise that things are running smoothly.

Esteban Cortes
Business Development
Experience:
I am an expert on Developer's minds, Graphic Designer's emotions and a bit knowldgeable on Social Networkers traumas.
He´s done almost all there is to do at Crowd. He started as an Agile Project Lead, and now he is part of the Customer Service and Project Assignment. When he has a task, he does not stop until he gets it done.
Edwin Cruz
Teach Lead
Experience:
Ruby, Ruby on Rails, GWT, Javascript, Ruby Apps Hosting (Nginx, Haproxy, Unicorn, Thin), Capistrano, Cruisecontrol, GIT, Ecommerce concepts, MySQL DBA
Edwin has plenty of experience in the IT field and he always takes past results into consideration. He seems to be more productive when he does not have a task assigned to him (he reevaluates something and improves it just for fun). When he has time available, he invests it on finding solutions for a specific organizational or project need. Right now, Edwin is assigned to ModCloth and he is working on-site in San Francisco, CA. Edwin can identify the weak links of a project, and he does not give up until he is satisfied with the results. He comes up with the most ingenious solutions for every situation, an intricate mix of what he learnt before arriving at C.I. and all the new stuff that he has learnt while being with us. He has a very interesting background that includes working for one of the most important web companies in the world based in Northern California (guess which one it is… you probably use their search engine). We are lucky to have him on board, because he brought all his experience with him and he has shared it all with us.

And somehow she manages to join the rest of the guys for chicken wings at night... I´m telling you, she´ll burst into flames one day, seriously. Her creativity and ability are well balanced, and when you add her experience into the ecuation, the result is always positive. Her super power? her laughs, can be heard from miles away.

LOCATE THE CROWD
We chose Colima for many reasons, but mostly because it is a nice city with a huge potential. We had developers scattered all over the world, literally. But over time, the developers in Mexico proved to be more productive than the developers in other parts of the world. So we focused first on Mexico. But not everybody from Crowd is from Colima, so we had to find the right place for all of us to live in.
You can find us at:
Mexico, Col., Colima city,
Av. Constitucion #1950, L-5, 28017
info@crowdint.com
The engineers and designers who came to Colima just fell in love with the city, and did not mind moving here permanently. It was actually an easy choice, once we had the right people on board. The benefits of the Mexico office include:
- Convenient time zone
- Strong cultural fit
- Low cost
- NAFTA opportunities
- Wonderful to visit
- Easy to travel to the US on short notice.
- Beaches and nice natural landscape that keep us in touch with mother nature.
